Brothers Roy and Gene Clair created the first touring audio system form their Lititz, Pennsylvania garage back in the 1960’s. With the addition of Gene’s son (Troy) in the mix, Clair Global became the best and largest sound reinforcement company in the world.

Just up the road, TAIT built its name. Founded by Michael Tait, the inventive company has been building touring systems for top entertainment acts since the late 1970’s. and is the global leader specializing in staging, LED integration, show control, performance flying and automated rigging. CEO of TAIT, Adam Davis and owner of Clair Global, Troy Clair began to envision a larger community of industry companies formed ROCK LITITZ.

Rock Litz is a “one-of-a-kind” production community that supports innovative creativity within the live event industry. Home to over 30 companies and employing over 1,200 people , the campus is still growing.

Hotel Rock Lititz joined the campus to host quest.
Partnering with (ALT) Academy of Live Technology out of the UK (formerly Backstage Academy) and Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, this four-year, accredited BFA will offer a unique college experience, integrating students into the industry from day one.
